Are you missing out on the opportunity of a lifetime right now?

Missing Opportunities Blog Post

I can remember 100 different times (so to speak) that I missed my chance to do something spectacular because I didn’t plan my time correctly.

The most painful of all of those experiences was missing my chance to move to Paris about 5 years ago.

In hindsight, that was definitely the best thing that could have happened because otherwise I wouldn’t be living my purpose now. However, back then it didn’t feel that way.

So, what actually happened? I knew that I had a gift for languages (I speak 4) and so I didn’t dedicate as much time as I knew was necessary for the type of examinations that the Grandes Écoles de Paris required.

Because of that, I did not pass the second round of examinations, and I didn’t go to live in Europe for good. This was something I thought was my life’s dream at the time.

Do you have a story just like that? One point in time that you missed your chance because you did not calculate precisely what was required? In other words, you didn’t plan it out right?

Most of us do.

What am I talking about when I speak of opportunity?

I mean real soul opportunities that are meant for you! Understanding and knowing how to distinguish fear-based opportunities and real opportunities is very important.

I see a lot of entrepreneurs buying course after course, not really understanding what is valuable and would support them in their growth and what wouldn’t. But that is the subject for another day! 😉

The most important thing to realize is that we never know what moment will bring a pivotal opportunity.

Needless to say, I moved past the planning issues about 1 year into my business. 😉

There are a few ways that you can be ready. When it comes to time, the most important ones are:

  1. Always have enough space for new opportunities. If you are working at 95% of the time, there really is no room for you to take advantage of new opportunities. Putting what you are already doing aside is also not advisable, because it will create chaos in your business. The best way is to always be ready. That is why having a Lifestyle Business is so important! (i.e. You will always have time for whatever you want!)
  2. Know thyself (hehe!) It is very important to know how you work best in terms of planning so you know exactly what to do when you get your chance in the spotlight!
  3. Know what are the traps that prevent you from reaching your next level in business! Do you know which ones are yours?

There are 3 Traps that I know that keep entrepreneurs like you Constantly Stressed, Struggling to get everything done, and Frustrated with their never ending to-do list.

I actually created a training that speaks specifically to this that is happening on Tuesday, July 21st, 2015 at 1pm ET.
