Ok so you’re a Coach, Creative or Intuitive and you have a lot to say about wanting to help people. Meaning, you probably have quite a few degrees/certificates/courses under your belt.

In fact, you probably spent more than a pretty penny on all that education. You went above and beyond to PREPARE for your business.

For you it was all about your craft…because that’s the reason that you WANTED to start your business in the first place. Only you forgot one important thing…

That it IS a Business 🙂

When you look around at all the other businesses that you see are turning a profit you say…but my service is probably 10x better than that one…heck, probably 100x better!

And you’re not bragging either, the few clients you’ve had loved you and raved about you.

And though that felt great…it didn’t lead to referrals and it DIDN’T help you grow your business in the least. They were just that…a few isolated albeit wonderful experiences.

So NOW you are finally noticing that you need to get the “Business” part of your business in place so you can finally start making money. YEY!

To your ears, nothing sounds sexier than Consistent Income 😉

SO the first question inside your head is What do I do first? What do I have to do now? OMG how the heck do I make my business work?

You’re a bit at a loss…and it’s not your fault. From birth we’re told that problems get solved with more education, but entrepreneurship does NOT work that way.

Taking another course, even a marketing course, will only give you a little piece of the puzzle. You’ve tried that one already, right? And it didn’t work no matter what the promise…

There are really only two things that are necessary to succeed in business: MINDSET & STRATEGY.

And I’m not talking about a small one-off strategy here. I’m talking about the FULL foundation or launch plan that helps you focus your time in EVERYTHING that leads to a Profitable Business…and nothing that doesn’t.

Before you go there though, there are a few things that are standing in your way…Actually two things.
Your lack of FOCUS, and well…YOU!

Let’s start with you… 🙂

There’s nothing more important to you than living your purpose, to help people, and to make a difference in this world doing what you love. I know, I’ve been there. It’s like this urge and urgency and you think about it day and night and every hour in between!

The reason this hasn’t happened YET is because you are STILL holding on to something.

Perhaps it’s a belief that it’s not enough, that you want to help everyone, that you’re not enough, that you can’t charge higher prices…whatever it is, it’s actually putting a 3ft steel wall between you and your $10K month.

Your success doing what you love to do…correction, what you were BORN to do, your purpose depends on you getting over this and letting it go.

Honestly…ask yourself, “How has this served me?”

For most of my clients, the answer is not at all, because it’s been years of trying and trying and killing yourself, without success.

Don’t just skim over this. It’s been YEARS! That means years of frustration, of sleepless nights, of maybe working for someone else doing something you don’t want to do, years of thinking that perhaps there’s something wrong with you, but there isn’t.

You’re just didn’t understanding what was really going on, perhaps until this very moment. And that’s ok! Guilt won’t get you anywhere. Let this go too 😉

The YOU part is more important (this is the Mindset Piece btw), because even if you have the FOCUS part, it will still not work, at least not at the level that you want it to.

Here’s how you focus:

#1. Choose ONE offer, for ONE person. Get more specific & invite your ideal clients to finally breathe and feel supported.

Your ideal clients can say YES to you ONLY after you say YES to them. You haven’t. Lack of focus is making it really hard for them to find you.

I’m not talking about people you can serve. You know you could serve the world, but this hasn’t led to cha-ching in the bank!

If you’re honest, your ideal clients are not all of the people you think you can help, even if they had amazing results, left you wonderful testimonials and raved about you.

As healers, we want to help everyone and we forget there are people to whom you will make the greatest impact. The ones whose lives will NEVER be the same after working with you. And the ones that you ENJOY the most working with 🙂

Not to mention that even if they got really great results, some of these will want to bargain with you on price and ask you to discount your services. Not ideal at all!

Without this piece, you won’t get referrals. Period. Your past clients will think (not without reason) that their situation and the service that you provided was unique and so won’t naturally think of referring you to their contacts, even if they have a problem you can solve.

#2. Set your divine right price…and do NOT change it.

Discounting doesn’t feel good, not charging your worth doesn’t feel good and not working with ideal clients that get you the best testimonials REALLY doesn’t feel good.

So understand the value and transformation that you offer down to the penny…and then speak it confidently in your discovery sessions. OWN it, if you don’t, nobody will.

Up to NOW, you’ve been in an endless YEARS journey of >>You don’t know where to focus, so you don’t attract ideal high-paying clients, so you discount or charge less, and you don’t get paid.

I don’t know about you, but when I started my first business, all of my insecurities and old stories about needing to stand out came knocking on my door. Not with a fist…with a wrecking ball!

Maybe you can identify…when I was little I used to be either compared to my sister, or I used to be told that we were twins and the same. A little confusing for a 5yo.

You see, me and my sister are only 1 year, 1 month and 10 days apart. We have the same build from our face, to our heights, to our hips 😉

I came to live with my mother, sister and brother from my great-grandmother’s house where I was adored for the unique being that I was…I was used to being an only child with my great-grandparents (even if I knew I had siblings) and now there were two of us girls.

So people, as they often do, would compare us. And when they did, it was always saying that my sister was prettier, smarter, thinner than me….the list goes on.

When they said we were twins and the same, it felt even worse to me because the message was…you’re the same, but she’ll always be better.

You can see how this brought out a little rebellion in me…and for many years I made myself as different from her as I could be. In my character, style, personality…honestly, any way I could find!

I would reject any thought of us being the same (even though the similarities were pretty darn obvious) and during those years in high-school and even college, everyone that told me we looked alike got the stink eye from me.

I eventually got over it as I “grew up” and came to appreciate being compared to her. Now that my rebel blinders are off, I can see that we are so alike that it’s scary wonderful!

I also came to understand that though we still like the same things, have most of the same thoughts and instincts about life, we are also soooooo different. I couldn’t see either of those things when I was so gung ho about it.

So how does that help you sell $5K packages?

There are a lot of people out there doing EXACTLY what you do. What I mean by that is, if you’re a relationship coach, the end goal is to find your soulmate, no?

In business, it means nothing that you are like everyone else. In fact, it can be a very good thing that a lot of people want to deliver the same outcome that you do because it means that there is a need. This is nothing new.

You know this…and yet, why do you still doubt that your clients want to find YOU? That they want the SPECIFIC way that you deliver that solution, who you are when you teach it, or even the way that you organize the information that will get them there?

This doubt is a major trap that your mind has cooked up for you to get you to delay your High-End Launch. You simply stay where you are, always tweaking, always trying to get clearer, and never stepping into your brilliance. Rather anti-climactic if you ask me!

The truth is that you will never have it all figured out. You do it as you move, as you launch and understand what is working and what isn’t. It’s not more complicated than that.

So here are a few tips to get you to use the gift of individuality and start selling $5K packages as YOU…

Step 1. Stop comparing yourself. Though you deliver the same outcome, you couldn’t be the same as “her” if you tried…especially when selling to high-end clients. They buy YOU as much as they do their desired outcome.

Step 2. Stop pushing so hard trying to be different…it always feels forceful. When you’re focusing on other people rather than yourself… and your clients read your marketing, they are reading someone else’s marketing and then you wonder why they choose the other mentor, and not you? The focus has to be on you!

Step 3. Make it a daily practice to understand yourself and what you teach, more consciously. Pay attention to your desires and how you’re growing, and grounding those things daily so they become a part of you. I do that by journaling but you can use your favorite method here.

When you focus on you, it happens. The self-created struggle is what takes IT away from you.

…Then attracting your high-paying clients with your high-end launch WORKS, because you’re speaking YOU and they can feel it.

It can even help you find opportunities with people you would have considered your “competitors”!

The Myth of BALANCE for the Woman Entrepreneur creating a High-End Business and what it can teach you about your struggle getting clients to pay you $5K or more.

Let’s get to it…When I was in high school I started feeling really overwhelmed with all the honors classes, working part-time for 20+hrs a week, and my budding social life after years of being an outcast when I first came from Cuba.

Those were the three things that were constantly on my mind, and I didn’t know how to navigate the stress and make it all work together…

So much so that to keep myself sane, I made a resolution that no matter what, I was going to find balance. I could DO it all. I knew it. I just had to find the right combination.

Then one day, I was told in a clear voice that I was Sazzu, not Jennie (the name I was born with) and I decided to make my new name mean Balance, so that I would always remember the end goal. I was 16 at the time.

Many years later, after my 1st year in business and in my now SUBCONSCIOUS pursuit of Balance, I was working 80hr weeks on my business, with ONLY 2 (albeit high-end) clients and a very, VERYYYYYY unbalanced life.

Sometimes I would ask myself “how the hell did I get here?”, and the answer would come, quietly, “this is what you wanted”…it was just not HOW I wanted it.

I obviously did not stay there for long, and below I want to give you some ideas of how to move forward if this is your dilemma right now…because if you are wanting to create a High-End Business where you are selling YOURSELF, this will Always be the problem.

You can’t very well be selling your Lifestyle and Business if you are working non-stop and seeing no results. That is not in integrity…so I want to help you do what feels good, and get there quickly.

1. Understand that balance in the way that you’ve been sold it doesn’t really exist. It has nothing to do with having balance between all the things that you have going on in your life like I thought. It has everything to do with your decision and commitment…to having it all and to live your purpose full out!

2. And that doesn’t mean that you have to DO it all. So in fact, the truth of the matter is that it gets easier when you’re moving in the right direction because it’s a lot easier to make MORE money than less!

**This one comes with a little caveat! You DO have to put in the work at the beginning. There is no excuse for you not setting up a foundation for your specific business model that is proven and works to launch your high-end, high-touch programs successfully. However, it doesn’t have to take you longer than 4-6 weeks to do this!**

3. Eliminate the excuses. The excuses why it’s “so hard”. The excuses why you “have to slow down” and find more “balance” and any excuse in between that keeps you getting less results than you know you are capable of.

4. OH yea, and pick ONE, just one thing you KNOW you should be doing every day, and then do it.
That’s it!

When you are LIVING what you love, and your life is a reflection of your work in every way, that is YOUR balance.

Now go out there and get it done!
